Pricing

The BlinkPay POS costs 2,500,000 UGX — and comes preloaded with the same amount as your float for bill payments and airtime vending. In effect, there's no net cost: your initial payment becomes the working capital your business vends from.

Since you don't pay separately to acquire the terminal itself, the POS remains the property of Blink Systems Limited, which covers support and connectivity. You're responsible for your own receipt paper.

Requirements to get a POS

• Trading license
• Certificate of Incorporation (for companies)
• National IDs for at least two company directors, or a board resolution to open a BlinkPay account
• A National ID, driving permit, or passport (for sole proprietors)
• Proof of payment of the 2,500,000 UGX activation deposit

Instant commission payouts

Blink Systems shares the commission earned on every bill payment and airtime/data sale with you: 60% to the merchant and 40% to Blink Systems. Commission is deposited instantly to your merchant account — no waiting for a payout cycle.

Flexible termination

You can withdraw from BlinkPay at any time — just request a withdrawal form by email, phone, or through a support representative, who'll collect the POS along with your signed form. Blink Systems can also reclaim a POS that's gone inactive for 90+ days, can't stay connected due to poor network coverage, or is being used for anything illegal.

Either way, any balance in your account stays available to you and your account remains active — you're welcome to come back as a merchant later if you meet the requirements again.
